Welcome to Maed, a nutrition tracking application designed to help you monitor your dietary intake and achieve your health goals. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Maed App, including any updates, features, and services we provide.
Please read these Terms carefully before using Maed. By downloading, installing, or using the Maed App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using the Maed App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Maed App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Maed ("we", "us", or "our"). Your use of the Maed App signifies your acceptance of these Terms.
If you are using the Maed App on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

The Maed App, including its design, features, functionality, source code, graphics, user interface, and content, is owned by Maed and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Maed App remain with us. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights to the Maed App.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Maed App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
You retain ownership of any data you enter into the Maed App (meal logs, custom foods, weight data). By using the Maed App, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the app's functionality.
The name "Maed" and associated logos are trademarks of Maed. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written permission.
THE MAED APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

You are responsible for verifying nutritional information and should not rely solely on the Maed App for critical dietary decisions.
We do not guarantee that using the Maed App will result in weight loss, improved health, or achievement of any specific health goals. Individual results may vary based on numerous factors beyond our control.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAED AND ITS DEVELOPERS, AFFILIATES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ethiopia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
The Maed App is developed and operated in Ethiopia. While we welcome Users from other countries, the app is primarily designed for Ethiopian Users and complies with Ethiopian laws and regulations.
Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to first contact us to attempt to resolve any dispute informally. Please send a detailed description of the dispute to our contact email provided below.
We will attempt to resolve the dispute through good faith negotiations within 30 days of receiving your notice.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make changes, we will:

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if such modification is not possible, the provision shall be severed from these Terms.
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of these Terms, which shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Maed regarding your use of the Maed App and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.
